The Silures were a powerful war tribe occupying much of ancient South Eastern Wales from AD 48. Incited by King Caratacus, they fiercely resisted the Roman Empire and protected their heritage. As Cardiff is home, Silures is a nod to the rich cultural history of South Eastern Wales.
Silures is A&M Hospitality Group’s take on the contemporary Restaurant & Bar, and the embodiment of true hospitality: personalised, unique and accessible.
Whilst Silures is firmly rooted in Wales, benefiting from the abundance of local produce available, the all-day dining menu is inspired by the broadness and endless possibilities of Modern European cuisine.
The all-day dining menu is available from day to night, with Saturday Brunch and Sunday Roast showcasing on the weekends. The bar is a bustling and non-stop space, open to all and featuring a range of crafted cocktails, draught beer and bespoke bar snacks.
Born in Roath, Cardiff, Silures is an integral part of the community not only by creating an accessible but premium offering, but by championing environmental sustainability, local supply lines and ethical practices.
Wednesdays at Silures
Silures is delighted to announce that Boeuf en Croûte will be showcasing every Wednesday evening this coming September. Chef Byron Moussouris has prepared the traditional French classic using Roger & Sons fillet of beef, served with creamed potato and honey-glazed heritage carrots. Don’t fancy beef wrapped in pastry? Not to worry, there’ll also be a variety of other main course dishes as well as starters and desserts to choose from.
This special menu will be available every Wednesday in September at £45 for two courses and £50 for three.
