A site of Special Scientific interest, Cosmeston Lakes & Medieval Village, has a variety of habitats covering over 100 hectares of land and water protecting rare plant and animal species. During the development of the park, excavations uncovered the remains of of a community of over 600 years old. You can visit the village set in 1350, it’s a fascinating insight to how the community lived and is open 7 days a week!
