There are so many reasons to visit Techniquest, the hands-on interactive science discovery centre in the heart of Cardiff Bay, with two floors of mind-boggling exhibits where you can launch a rocket, try your hand at virtual surgery, experience a real-life earthquake and even feel the force of a hurricane!

With over 60 innovative exhibits across five key themes- chemistry; biomedical science; world issues; environment and space, Techniquest truly has something for everyone – no matter your age!

And why not take your Techniquest experience home with you? Purchase an X-tag during your visit and keep record of all your findings to explore further after your visit.

If that’s not enough, you’ll also find puzzles, books, science kits and much more in Techniquest’s shop – the largest gift shop in the Bay. When it’s time for a break, take a seat in the coffee shop located near the entrance of the building and choose from its wide selection of locally-sourced drinks, sandwiches and snacks.

Techniquest welcomes public visitors throughout the year and is open from Wednesday-Sunday with two dedicated sessions available from 10am-1pm and 2pm-5pm.
