The service operates hourly throughout the day, with the Baycar also running every 30 minutes providing extra journeys and an evening service – all included within the price of your Skycar day ticket!

🎫How do I buy a ticket?

There’s three ways to buy tickets for the Skycar, to make it a breeze:

  • Buy on the Cardiff Bus app – Skycar day tickets are available on the app, alongside timetable information and live tracking of buses, so it’s a one-stop-shop for all you need for your journey! Skycar day tickets are valid on any Cardiff Bus service, so buying on the app gets your the best value for money if you’d like to travel on other services first.
  • Buy on Board the Skycar – see the bus and fancy a ride? You can buy all tickets on board with contactless or cash (but we can’t give change, so please try to have exact fare ready!). Other services are unable to sell Skycar tickets, so if you’re planning to catch another service first, download the Cardiff Bus app and purchase the ticket on there to get the best value for money.
  • Using Tap on Tap Off – you can tap on & tap off as you travel with Cardiff Bus, and we’ll automatically cap the fare each day to the best value adult ticket.
