Trains
Rail services in/out of Cardiff are expected to be very busy and Transport for Wales will be adding more capacity and additional services where possible.
Planned engineering work means there will be no train services in/out of Cardiff on a number of routes on Sunday 7 September.
- Between Cardiff Queen Street and Rhymney. Buses will replace trains between Cardiff Central and Caerphilly / Ystrad Mynach, Bargoed and Rhymney.
- Between Cardiff Central and Barry, closing all lines on Sunday morning (before 1230). Buses will replace trains between: Cardiff Central and Penarth, Cardiff Central and Barry Island, Cardiff Central and Bridgend via Barry.
Additionally, no trains will run between Radyr and Cardiff Central via Fairwater.
Due to Network Rail engineering work in west Wales and on the Marches Line, buses also replace trains between Carmarthen and Swansea before 0955 and the line between Newport and Hereford is closed all day on Sunday 7 September.
Where rail replacement bus services are operating in/out of Cardiff, journey times are likely to take longer than usual due to the road closures in the city centre for the events.

Can you cycle or walk?
The cycleways and the pop-up cycleways within the road closure area will remain open for cyclists to use during the event, but due to the number of people expected to attend these concerts, we ask all cyclists to take due care and attention.
The road closures apply to all motor vehicles of any kind, but not to bicycles with pedals.
Those who live locally in Cardiff may want to travel by bicycle or walk. Research shows us that 52% of car trips made in the Welsh capital are less than 5km. This is a distance that can be comfortably cycled in 20 minutes.
We also know that 28% of Cardiff residents who currently do not cycle would like to do so.
When the roads are congested this makes cycling an even more attractive option as travel by bicycle would be quicker than a car during rush hours or during big events.
Disabled Parking
Disabled drivers are advised to use Sophia Gardens. Disabled parking is also available at various private car parks.
Please check individual websites for availability.
