Leafy suburb Pontcanna is no doubt the most fashionable place to live in Cardiff. The area is affluent, exclusive and one of the trendiest places to live in the UK.

Pontcanna is regularly described as a ‘city village’, because you have everything a neighbourhood could possibly need! It has beautiful architecture, independent shops and restaurants, parkland – and is a stone’s throw from the city centre.

Top tip: Explore Pontcanna Street & Cathedral Road on foot and marvel at all of the amazing independent bars, restaurants and shops!

Remember – this is only a small selection of what’s on offer in the neighbourhood!

HOW TO GET TO PONTCANNA

Walk: Pontcanna is a twenty minute walk from Cardiff City Centre. You will find most of the restaurants, bars and attractions as you walk down Cathedral Road and Pontcanna Street.

Bike: Bikes are available to borrow from Pedal Power in Sophia Gardens.

Train: A short 20 minute walk from Cardiff Central – also accessible from Ninian Park and Cathays, which are a similar distance.
